How fares work

Every fare combines a distance rate, a time rate, and disclosed fees. Your exact price — the tier you chose, the booking fee, applicable regulatory fees, and any dynamic pricing — is calculated and shown in full before you confirm, and it does not change afterward unless you change the route.

The booking fee is flat, not a percentage. It does not grow because your trip is longer or your vehicle is more premium.

Dynamic pricing is capped and applies only to distance and time. It never multiplies the booking fee or any regulatory line.

California fees are itemized separately. The CA Access for All fee (CPUC SB 1376) is remitted to the state. The CA Driver Benefits Fee funds Prop 22 healthcare stipends and guaranteed earnings — ring-fenced, and never platform revenue.

Tiers

Each tier carries its own rates, shown in-app before you book: premium tiers (NEXEXEC, NEXELITE, NEXBLACK), focused services (NEXSHE), group and value options (NEXPOOL, NEXFLEX), EV-only NEXECO, business-class NEXBUSINESS, and large-capacity NEXMAX. NEXPET adds a surcharge for pet-friendly matching. NEXFLEX Priority carries a higher base for front-of-queue dispatch; NEXFLEX Save runs below NEXGO when you can wait.
